Career Week
Doctors use X-rays to take pictures of our bones. What other jobs are there? We explored and pretended to have a Post Office in our preschool this week. The children took turns being the Postman while the others could come buy post office supplies like envelopes, stamps, boxes, and postcards. A writing station with stamps and paper was a great place to write our letters, put them in the envelope, and then mail it at the Post Office.
We explored other jobs by reading Career Day, Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, and Caps For Sale. We noticed that each person wore special clothes for their job. (Click on the above links for great videos reading the story!)
